No offense, the MX4 is fun but IMO nowhere near as rugged as a 250cc dirt bike. The suspension is also not great for real moto.
If you want something comparable, the stark varg is sufficient.
    Solid 3 stars for me
    Sorry not sorry

I’ve got some yapping washed up petrol head dudes talking down on the MX4 and i can’t help but laugh, have 4100 miles on my mx4 with the majority of that ripping through the desert mountains of Az and the suspension has been excellent for when it was released/ what it is built for(trail/single track/light enduro). I would never go hit a 50 foot triple on it and yes I do bottom it out when landing flat from over 3 feet but at 165 lbs, it mops up almost everything I throw at it.

I rode back to back with my mx4 and an mx5 this week and every hard landing that would max out my mx4 was swallowed up with ease on the mx5 even in stock CSTs. I was very impressed with the updates and look forward to comparing it to the much more expensive ultra bee here in a couple weeks.

In regards to vs a gasser…. Hardly a comparison when you have a full size 250 or higher but again, that’s a whole different cost bracket and design goals to be honest

I had a mx4 ordered and got thinking how I would regret not waiting the extra 3 weeks for the E-ride and knowing if I wanted it to be as fast as the eride I would have to drop another $3,500 for a battery and controller. So here I am with hopefully less than 2 weeks left, and not kicking myself for being impatient.
On a side note I have never ridden any of these EBbikes to say which is better quality other than all the YouTube videos I have watched and the E-Ride is defiantly fastest out of the box

Mx5 is better than mx4 I wish I got the mx5 instead. Better brakes and battery and higher top speed. Would be easier to regulate the battery with a better bike.
I see people comparing with the Ultra Bee
If you have a 2025 ultra bee, if I were you I’d just keep that unless it’s really too big. It looks better anyways more of a dirtbike look and it has a headlight parts are more readily available.
I want the Komodo but I’m contemplating getting an mx5 now because I sat on the Komodo and it feels a little big so I’m worried about its manoeuvrability compared to the mx4.

If I were to choose any small bike though it would be MX5 definitely they’re the most reliable and have gearbox instead of the belt bullshit surron has . No hate to surron (ultra bee looks better). I thrashed the crap out of the MX4 that’s why I’m so sold on the MX5 lol, I’ll be ordering again soon gonpedsurron.com

Honest review; since i ordered bike from you guys I’ll call it a spade, It is not as good as a gas dirt bike, but the advantage that you get is STEALTH. Karens aren’t going to call the cops on you for riding through neighborhoods to get to the trails because they can’t hear you coming. It’s also smaller and weighs half what a dirt bike does so you can duck into tight spaces easily. You can blend in really well and for the most part nobody will notice you. For me, that alone makes it worth it unless you’re a hardcore MX or desert rider and don’t mind taking your bike around in the back of a truck.
Dirt bikes and emotos serve totally different purposes in my opinion.
So far 8/10 and I’m loving it here

The Talaria Sting R MX4 is a powerful, durable e-dirt bike with great acceleration, long range, and low-maintenance gearbox drive. Riders love its torque, braking, and modern features, but common complaints include soft suspension, jumpy throttle, battery rattle, and basic stock tires. With minor upgrades and tuning, it’s considered one of the best in its class for off-road performance.
Can’t complain on mine tho, big ups gonpedsurron

How’s the range on the stock mx5 !? I was thinking of getting the MX5 or wait for the Komodo
I think I no longer feel the thrill of my MX4 as I use to
