Nelson Limas –
Soon as mine came in, I’ve been working on it, looks great. I personally like the 18/21 wheel set, that’s what I got and I love them. I’m working on a custom set of radiator shrouds, and fitting a ktm freeride seat. Can’t wait to finish that up, big ups gonpedsurron.com

It looks like a mix of a ultra bee now and a talaria Komodo, I think it look way beetle than the rock plastics.
McBrennan –
Ordered the MX5 from here and as of right now, the MX5 is the best in its category. Now, if they don’t drop a bigger bike soon, the company is going under.

I got a bad feeling with TalariaUSA. I went through the purchase process and they charged my CC and said I would get a shipping notification a day or two later. Everything seemed fine when I received the notification and then the next day I saw a refund to my CC for the full amount. I reached out and they said due to high demand they had to cancel it but I could reorder at a lower price (3200) but it had to be via wire or ACH. Felt like a huge red flag and I didn’t go through with it, the only place I could do that with full confidence is here as you guys are rated and come recommended by many of my friends and on reddit too. I placed my order here in the States and in 3 weeks it was at my home no huddle.

First off, you guys sell really durable and good bikes but here is a pain in my butt…
Impossible to get Road-Legal insurance in the UK? (Talaria Sting Pro)
Ordered here and it came in safely, took time but no worries but here the thing
I’ve got a road registered Talaria Sting Pro here in the UK, but have not been able to find a single option for getting it insured (to ride on the road).
I’ve been in touch with Talaria UK through Facebook, and although they’ve tried to help, I’m still in the same position. They initially recommended BikeSure, but they came back and said they couldn’t offer anything. Then they recommended MCM Insurance, who replied today to say they couldn’t insure it either.
I don’t think there anything about me specifically that would make things different. Homeowner, married, middle aged, no convictions or anything, decades of bike experience…
Has anyone else found an option for getting insurance?
Latest message from Talaria UK:
Hi,
Bike Sure are currently looking for new underwriters, I’ve been waiting for a response from them but they have gone silent.
I would recommend going to MSM insurance – we have had a few dealers recently advise that this is where their customers are getting their insurance on Talarias.
The issue isn’t yourself – and it’s not Talaria as a brand either – it’s actually previous riders. Bike sure advised that multiple underwriters/insurance lenders had pulled out of many ‘off road’ type brands because of how many incidents had happened in the last three months from rider faults and had nothing to do with the bikes themselves.
MSM specialise in endurance type bikes.
Thanks, Jen
Message from MCM Insurance:
Hi,
Thank you for your enquiry regarding insurance for your Talaria and for taking the time to fill in our form.
Unfortunately, we are a specialist company and under the insurer-imposed terms of our scheme we are only able to quote for certain vehicles and can no longer quote for Talarias.
I am sorry we are unable to help you on this occasion.
Kind Regards, Jill

Sup gonpedsurron. I this won’t do much but i guess I’ll say it any way, i am thinking of purchasing from here and if i just care about going fast and don’t want something big like an ultra. It’s just not 5k worth of bike in my opinion and i urge you to please drop the price so some of us can afford, with 5k i can get a new crf150r. Nice, small, and light with 5x better parts. Even the ultra bees parts are 2x the quality and you can get those for cheaper. I don’t want to be the guy to throw the gas bikes in the mix but when the price gets this high we can’t keep up.
I’ll send you a message if we can negotiate a little on the price because I really do like to purchase this

Best Aggressive Offroad Tires gonpedsurron ?
Hello admin
Looking for recommendations for extremely aggressive mud/off road tires for my Talaria XXX pro from you guys as I got the bike from you, I’d appreciate
Im on a farm. Currently running the stock tires. My 4 stroke Honda XR150L has much better tires, and goes in the snow without any problems at all. But riding with company, my stock Talaria tires just don’t stack up.
The slip and slide is fun for me, but frequently if the guest is not good at slipping the clutch they end up on my Talaria since it is more user friendly in that regard.
Unfortunately it can feel quite scarry in the snow for a new rider.
Looking for extremely knobby off road tires. This Bike will hardly be driven on the road at all, almost exclusively in the woods.
Thanks for suggestions

Hello gonpedsurron
Best Electric Dirtbike for commuting + trails?
I’ve been thinking about picking up the best electric dirtbike for my daily needs, but I’m torn between going for a lightweight commuter or something that can handle proper weekend trails. On one hand, I want something practical for short rides to work and errands around town. On the other, I don’t want to feel limited if my friends call me for an off-road ride. That’s where I think finding the best electric dirtbike really matters, it has to balance both.
So far, I’ve looked at Sur Ron and Talaria models, which get a lot of hype. They seem like they’d be perfect for zipping through city traffic but still tough enough for dirt paths. My worry is range, most reviews from my pals say 40–60 miles depending on how aggressive you ride, and I’m not sure if that’s realistic for daily use plus trails.
What’s the maintenance like compared to gas dirtbikes? Also, I saw some surprisingly affordable models listed on your site, which could be interesting if they’re reliable enough, let’s get to shopping.
